Sandbar Broad River

The Sandbar offers trips down the Broad River near Bowman GA. They'll shuttle you upstream and you'll spend the day kayaking 5 miles back down to showers and your car. The river features a few stretches of up to class 2 rapids so plan to get wet.

This is where we found our love for kayaking (and learned to drive a short bus through hilly dirt roads). Natalie and Gerald are good people, they have good boats and service, and a unique and exciting stretch of river. - David

Market 50

Market 50 is offering homemade breads, cakes, cheesecakes, cinnamon rolls, sweet breads, cookies and pies. We carry premium quality nuts, trail mixes, dried fruits, candies, canned fruits, veggies and more. Our casseroles, chicken salad, and pimento cheese are made right here at Market 50.

Market 50 is a family-owned business that offers more awesome foods and candies and jams and spices than I care to try and list. They may be most famous for their phenomenal sandwiches and desserts, but we frequent them for their seasoning (taco, fajita, etc). - David
